This is a collections from a “Farm Girl” shoot I did with Jess. We had a great time with this theme and I think it really shows in the photos. Jess is “this girl”, she is herself on the farm taking care of her horses and her ol’pick-up truck. “Do you need help getting the truck started?” I asked. She just said,”na, I’ll just pour a little gas down the carburetor and she’ll fire right up.” And that’s just what happened, the truck was up and running and so was this photo shoot. We had a blast, made so cool images and put together a story that really tell who Jess is. Thanks Jess, whenever you want to do it again let me know.
These photos are from a shoot I did with Mason. He works as a mechanic and loves to play the drums when he’s not tearing into his truck. Before the shoot I knew exactly where I wanted to start, with Mason covered in grease in front of his tool box. This is just how I picture him hanging out. As I set up and started shooting we got talking and the time just fell away from us, we were making some really cool images. If you would like to read more about my shoot with Mason I wrote a blog post all about it. You can find it here: Portrait Shoot
I got a chance to take some photos of my friend Kenny the other day while he played his guitar. It was a real laid back kind of a thing, he just jammed out as I worked moving things about. We talked about what we have been up to lately and all the other stuff that has gone on the past few months. As we got caught up he got some time to play his guitar and I got to create some really cool photos. Here are some of the photos from our shoot together. I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed creating them.
